Start with your wire base and wrap some yellow or orange pipe cleaners around the wire. Space them out evenly to use as ties for the mesh bows.
Take the 21” deco mesh and we’ll be doing the 10” poof method. Hold to one end, curl it inwards, and scrunch it up. Add it to the first tie and drop the roll of deco mesh to the floor. Make your 10” poof, scrunch, and add to the next tie. Continue this method until you make it all the way to each tie on the wreath frame.
Next, cut 18 pieces of the 20” long burlap mesh. Using the curl and ruffle method, take each strip of burlap mesh, curl in the ends, then scrunch to the center. Add to each tie that is between each poof.
Take your Hello Fall sign and hot glue 4 pipe cleaners on the back. There is one for each corner. Take the sign and place it on the mesh. Use the pipe cleaners to attach to the wire base and sit it on top.
Next, take your EZ bow maker and your Terri bow. With the 2.5” ribbon, roll out 8 inches of ribbon onto the bow maker and hold your thumb in the middle. Create an 8 inch loop on each side and end with an 8 inch tail. Tip: Keep an 8-inch tail.
Repeat this process on top of the first ribbon you made to create a layered bow look. For each layer of the bow, alternate with the size of the ribbons. If you start with 2.5”, use 1.5” next, then another 2.5” ribbon, followed by another 1.5” ribbon. End with a 1.5” ribbon doing a single center loop. Using a pipe cleaner, wrap around the bow and twist nice and tight. Repeat to create 3 bows.
Once you create three Terri bows, attach the bows on the other half of the wreath opposite of the sign through the mesh and tie the pipe cleaners to the wreath frame.
Fluff the bows and mesh to give it more volume. Dove tail the ribbon tails of the bow and fluff out all 3 bows.
With one of the 2.5” and 1.5” ribbon, create ribbon tails using the ribbon tail board to measure 14” tails. Cut and dove tail then layer 2.5” and 1.5” ribbon tails, fold in half, scrunch the center and add to the ties of the wreath frame starting at the bottom outside and working your way into the top center of the wreath. Make sure all ribbon tails point out and fill any gaps in the wreath.
Add some red and orange/brown greenery stems throughout the wreath.
