Grab your greenery picks and fluff/spread the tines so they are full.
Create a mini swag by placing an evergreen on bottom and a frosted greenery pick on top of each other, going one direction. Repeat with your next stack going the other direction. Combine the 4 pick stems in the center with 2 zip ties, pulling tight. Trim excess. Fan out your greenery so they are full, popping out from the base.
Determine if you are going to use a wreath hanger for this project or not. It is up to you. I will use the part of my rim that has the largest opening between the spokes for a hanger to attach to later. Add the mini swag just a bit off to the left from that point. You will attach your mini swag with pipe cleaners close to the outer rim of the bike wheel. Attach between the spokes to hold in place.
Grab your ribbon, fancy or loveable, leaving a tail poking from one side out of your greenery. Weave the rest of the ribbon amongst your greenery, using a pipe cleaner to hold it in place. Create a poof just by holding ribbon out a bit from the swag, and securing with another pipe cleaner. Create 2 poofs, one on each side of your center of the swag. Create another ribbon tail on the other side and cut from spool. Trim ribbon tails with the dovetail look. Trim excess pipe cleaner.
Next will be the bow. This will be made by hand, so don’t stress. I will teach you! When creating a bow follow the motto, “Pinch it, twist it, and loop it.” Grab your ribbon, whichever design you purchased with your kit. Measure out 15” inches to form your first tail. Pinch it, twist it, and make your first loop measuring about 10”. Twist and repeat to make your next 10” loop, this being your first layer of loops. You can measure or just eyeball it. Twist your ribbon and begin your next 2 layers of loops repeating the steps to form 4 more loops total, at 12” this time. Repeat with the pinch, twist, loop to create another 2 final loops, measuring about 13” this time. You should have 8 total loops for this bow. With your remaining ribbon, cut off any excess from your 2nd tail that should measure 15”.
Fluff, manipulate your loops and tails before you officially tie them down. Grab your pipe cleaner and secure your bow in the center. Attach your bow with the excess of your pipe cleaner directly between your mini swag.
