Baseball Themed Wreath by Jordan

Materials

  • Evergreen wreath base
  • 10" mesh
  • 1 1” red satin Farrisilk RD890-02
  • 1 2.5” red/white argyle RG0190524
  • 1 2.5” baseball ribbon RGA117101
  • 1 4” red satin Farrisilk RD877-02
  • 1 4” open weave burlap DCR 21111-RD
  • 2 Dill bush
  • 1 Round leaf bush
  • Baseball decorations mini baseballs, picks, etc.
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Wire or twine for hanging

Instructions

Preparing the Wreath Base:

  • Select your wreath base. Evergreen bases are great for a fuller look.
  • If desired, paint any decorations like baseballs to match your theme.

Adding Mesh Poufs:

  • Cut 10-inch mesh and create poufs around the inner ring of the wreath.
  • Secure each pouf with pipe cleaners or the base ties. You don’t always need 21-inch mesh; 10-inch works perfectly.

Creating Ruffles:

  • Cut mesh into 22-24 inch pieces and create ruffles.
  • Attach ruffles to the wreath, alternating colors and textures for a dynamic look.

Adding Decorations and Greenery:

  • Arrange your greenery and baseball decorations on the wreath base.
  • Glue elements securely, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Incorporate any additional touches, like ribbons or smaller picks, to enhance the design.

Final Touches:

  • Add a decorative bow made from baseball-themed ribbons.
  • Attach a piece of wire or twine to the back of the wreath for hanging.
