Welcome Christmas Wreath
Cute and whimsical welcome Christmas wreath with Santa suit and candy cane ribbon.
Materials
- 1 14 inch Pancake Wreath Frame DecoExchange
- 1 12 inch round metal sign Wreath Supply Box Deluxe, DecoExchange
- 1 10 inch mesh DecoExchange RE1367N5
- 1 2.5 inch ribbon Santa Clothing line DecoExchange RGA199710
- 1 roll 2.5 inch ribbon Sam's Club
- 1 roll 1.5 inch ribbon Sams Club Sam's Club
- 1 roll 1.5 inch ribbon DecoExchange RN585849
- 12 pipe cleaners
- 3 wire stems
Instructions
Prep your base.
- Start with a round disk frame base.
- Add 12 pipe cleaners to the base.
- Take a 10” mesh and cut 12 x 20” pieces.
- Take the mesh and make ruffles by pinching the ends together.
- Add 6 ruffles to the outer ring of the frame using the pipe cleaners.
Add in your ribbon.
- Take 2 x 2.5” ribbons and cut 12 x 14” pieces of each.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Take the ribbon and layer them in pairs to make ribbon tails.
- Add 6 ribbon tails to the ruffles.
Add the remaining mesh and ribbon.
- Add the remaining 6 ruffles to the outer ring of the frame using the pipe cleaners.
- Add the remaining 6 ribbon tails to the ruffles.
Add in your sign
- Take your sign and add wire to the sides.
- Add your sign the the center of the wreath using wire.
Make and add your bow.
- Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 6 loops.
- Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 5 loops.
Layer your bows.
- Add a wire and secure your bows and wire with a zip tie.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Add your bow to the bottom center of the wreath.
