Trim down the stems to about 4–6 inches. You don’t need the full length, but leave enough to secure them into the grapevine.
Fluff and fan out your greenery to restore their natural shape. Shipping and storage can flatten them, so this step is key to achieving a professional look.
Create Your Foundation
Lay the two largest greenery picks next to each other, forming a soft “V” shape.
Secure the greenery to the grapevine base using zip ties. Place the stems through the “guts” of the grapevine (the inside layers) to keep them stable and prevent sliding.
Adjust the greenery to follow the curve of the grapevine. Use your fingers to gently bend and fan out the pieces for a natural flow.
Add Depth and Texture
Incorporate smaller filler pieces like eucalyptus or additional ferns to add depth.
Pay attention to any bare spots—fill them in with additional greenery or mossy accents.
Create balance—what you add to one side, mirror on the other to create a cohesive design.
Create a Big Juicy Bow
Cut 8–10 loops at about 8 inches each for your primary ribbon.
Add a secondary ribbon with 6 loops at 7.5 inches.
Finish with a decorative accent ribbon like jute windowpane for texture.
Secure the bow with a zip tie and attach it to the wreath.
Hide the Mechanics
Cover exposed stems and zip ties with small greenery pieces. Glue these in place to ensure a seamless, polished look.
