Pink Candy Cane Door Hanger

A door hanger tutorial perfect for a pink winter theme.

Equipment

Materials

  • 1 23" Foam decorative candy cane
  • Flocked greenery
  • Pink evergreen garland
  • Cookie sprays
  • Lollipop picks
  • Curly candy picks
  • Marshmallow picks
  • Whimsical ball sprays
  • Zip ties
  • 1 roll 2.5″ wired ribbon

Instructions

Prep your base.

  • Start with a pink evergreen garland.
  • Add some flocked greenery to the garland using zip ties.

Add in your picks and sprays.

  • Add in a few cookie sprays to the design.
  • Add in some lollipop picks.
  • Secure them with a zip tie.
  • Add in a few marshmallow picks using a zip tie.
  • Add in some curly candy picks.
  • Add in some whimsy ball sprays.
  • Secure them with a zip tie.

Make and add your bow.

  • Take 1 ribbon and make a bow with 4 loops.
  • Secure the bow with a pipe cleaner.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Add the bow to the center of the design using a pipe cleaner.
  • Curl the ends.

Add your candy cane.

  • Add your large 23” foam candy cane to the back of the design using a pipe cleaner.
  • Add a marshmallow pick to the center of the bow using glue.
