Spread the love

Hey, it’s Melissa here from Sincerely Creative Mom, sharing a quick and easy everyday wreath design that you can make year-round! As one of the coaches inside the Creative Coaching Group, I love helping others create beautiful, sellable designs that make running a creative business easier. Today, I’m going to show you how to make a simple everyday wreath that is quick to assemble and perfect for adding to your shop.

Why Everyday Wreaths Designs Are a Must for Your Shop

Everyday wreaths are a staple product that your customers can purchase year-round. Unlike seasonal designs, which have a limited selling window, everyday wreaths work as gifts, housewarming decorations, and general home decor. They are great for:

  • New homeowners
  • Gifts for loved ones
  • Neutral home decor
  • Entryway accents
  • Year-round decorating

The key to making a great multiple is simplicity—choosing materials that are always in stock and designing a piece that is quick and easy to replicate.

Materials You’ll Need

Step-by-Step Instructions and Video Tutorial

1. Attach Your Sign

  1. Take your hole puncher and create two holes on each side of your metal sign. If you prefer, you can use mounting squares and super glue instead of drilling holes.
  2. Feed floral wire through the holes and attach it securely to the grapevine wreath.
  3. Position the sign slightly off-center to allow space for greenery and a bow.
  4. Twist the wire tightly in the back and tuck in the ends to keep everything secure.

Pro Tip: Unlike mesh wreaths, grapevine wreaths don’t shift over time, so your sign will stay in place better!

2. Add Greenery for a Full Base

  1. Use greenery bushes that are always available at big box stores to ensure you can replicate this design easily.
  2. Fluff the greenery to create volume before attaching it.
  3. Start placing greenery around the sign, tucking stems into the grapevine for a natural look.
  4. Secure each piece with hot glue and wire as needed.
  5. Layer additional greenery to build up the fullness and texture.

Selling Tip: Using readily available greenery ensures you can keep restocking this design in your shop!

3. Create a Simple Bow

  1. Choose a 7/8-inch ribbon in a neutral shade that matches the design.
  2. Cut long tails, and then begin making loops, twisting between each one.
  3. Make large loops for a full and voluminous look.
  4. Secure the center with a zip tie and fluff the loops.
  5. Attach the bow to the wreath where the greenery meets, tying it in tightly with floral wire.
  6. Arrange the loops so that the bow looks balanced.

Why This Works: Using a single ribbon for a bow is faster and helps create a cohesive look while keeping costs down!

4. Final Adjustments

  • Make sure your greenery is secure and well-positioned.
  • Adjust the bow’s loops and tails to ensure they are evenly spread.
  • Trim any stray greenery or wire.
  • Check that the wreath is balanced and ready to hang!

Why This Wreath Works for Selling

  • Fast & Simple: You can make multiples quickly, increasing your profit margin.
  • Readily Available Materials: The sign, ribbon, and greenery are always in stock, making restocking easy.
  • Neutral & Everyday Design: Customers can use it all year, making it a great staple for your shop.
