Hey, it’s Melissa here from Sincerely Creative Mom, sharing a quick and easy everyday wreath design that you can make year-round! As one of the coaches inside the Creative Coaching Group, I love helping others create beautiful, sellable designs that make running a creative business easier. Today, I’m going to show you how to make a simple everyday wreath that is quick to assemble and perfect for adding to your shop.
Why Everyday Wreaths Designs Are a Must for Your Shop
Everyday wreaths are a staple product that your customers can purchase year-round. Unlike seasonal designs, which have a limited selling window, everyday wreaths work as gifts, housewarming decorations, and general home decor. They are great for:
- New homeowners
- Gifts for loved ones
- Neutral home decor
- Entryway accents
- Year-round decorating
The key to making a great multiple is simplicity—choosing materials that are always in stock and designing a piece that is quick and easy to replicate.

Materials You’ll Need
- 10-inch sign – I’m using a “Home Sweet Home” sign
- 12-inch grapevine wreath
- Hole puncher
- Greenery bushes (I used four from Hobby Lobby)
- 7/8-inch ribbon (I chose a neutral, glittered ribbon that complements the sign)
- Glue gun & glue sticks
- Wire cutters
- EZ Bow Maker (optional)
- Zip ties
Step-by-Step Instructions and Video Tutorial
1. Attach Your Sign
- Take your hole puncher and create two holes on each side of your metal sign. If you prefer, you can use mounting squares and super glue instead of drilling holes.
- Feed floral wire through the holes and attach it securely to the grapevine wreath.
- Position the sign slightly off-center to allow space for greenery and a bow.
- Twist the wire tightly in the back and tuck in the ends to keep everything secure.
Pro Tip: Unlike mesh wreaths, grapevine wreaths don’t shift over time, so your sign will stay in place better!
2. Add Greenery for a Full Base
- Use greenery bushes that are always available at big box stores to ensure you can replicate this design easily.
- Fluff the greenery to create volume before attaching it.
- Start placing greenery around the sign, tucking stems into the grapevine for a natural look.
- Secure each piece with hot glue and wire as needed.
- Layer additional greenery to build up the fullness and texture.
Selling Tip: Using readily available greenery ensures you can keep restocking this design in your shop!

3. Create a Simple Bow
- Choose a 7/8-inch ribbon in a neutral shade that matches the design.
- Cut long tails, and then begin making loops, twisting between each one.
- Make large loops for a full and voluminous look.
- Secure the center with a zip tie and fluff the loops.
- Attach the bow to the wreath where the greenery meets, tying it in tightly with floral wire.
- Arrange the loops so that the bow looks balanced.
Why This Works: Using a single ribbon for a bow is faster and helps create a cohesive look while keeping costs down!
4. Final Adjustments
- Make sure your greenery is secure and well-positioned.
- Adjust the bow’s loops and tails to ensure they are evenly spread.
- Trim any stray greenery or wire.
- Check that the wreath is balanced and ready to hang!
Why This Wreath Works for Selling
- Fast & Simple: You can make multiples quickly, increasing your profit margin.
- Readily Available Materials: The sign, ribbon, and greenery are always in stock, making restocking easy.
- Neutral & Everyday Design: Customers can use it all year, making it a great staple for your shop.
