Lemon Wreath
Cute summer decor DIY project. Simple lemon themed wreath design for summer front door decor.

Materials
- 1 14″ Pancake Wreath frame
- 1 10″ Black mesh
- 5 Lemon Picks
- 1 2.5″ Black Lemon ribbon
- 1 2.5″ Polka dot edge yellow center ribbon
- 1 1.5″ Solid yellow ribbon
- 1 1.5″ Black with white polka dot ribbon
- 1 12″ Lemon Metal sign
- 13 Pipe cleaners
- 1 roll 22 gauge wire
Instructions
Prep your base and outer ring
- Start with a 14” pancake wreath frame (DecoExchange).
- Add 12 x pipe cleaners to the frame (6 x to the outer ring and 6 x to the inner ring), securing it by twisting it tightly.
Add in your outer ring mesh
- Take a 10” black mesh (RE130102) and cut 12 x 20” pieces.
- Take 6 x mesh pieces and make ruffles by pinching the ends (off center) together.
- Add the ruffles to the outer ring of the wreath frame using the pipe cleaners.
Add in your outer ring ribbon tails
- Take 2 x 2.5” ribbons (Black Lemon ribbon, 41237-40-22 and polka dot edge, yellow center ribbon, Q731740-22) and cut 6 x 16” pieces of each.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer the ribbons in pairs of 2.
- Add the ribbon tails to the outer ring by pinching the middle and using the pipe cleaners.
- Fluff out the ribbon tails.
Add in your inner ring mesh
- Take 6 x mesh pieces and make ruffles by pinching the ends (center) together.
- Add the ruffles to the inner ring of the wreath frame using the pipe cleaners.
- Add in your inner ring ribbon tails and lemon picks
- Take 2 x 2.5” ribbons (black lemon ribbon, 41237-40-22 and polka dot edge, yellow center ribbon, Q731740-22) and cut 6 x 12” pieces of each.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer the ribbons in pairs of 2.
- Add the ribbon tails to the inner ring by pinching the middle and using the pipe cleaners.
- Fluff out the ribbon tails.
- Take and add a lemon pick (62813SP16) to each inner ring ribbon tails (facing outwards) using a pick and pipe cleaner.
Make and add your bow
- Take a 2.5” black lemon ribbon (41237-40-22) and make a bow with 2 loops.
- Take a 2.5” polka dot edge, yellow center ribbon (Q731740-22) and make a bow with 2 loops.
- Take a 1.5 inch solid yellow ribbon (RG12788N) and make a bow with 2 loops.
- Take a 1.5 inch black with white polka dot ribbon (RG100002) and make a bow with 3 loops.
- Layer your bows.
- Secure your bow with a pipe cleaner.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Fluff out your bow.
Add in your sign and bow
- Take your 12” metal sign (MD0876) and add 22 gauge wire to the sides of the sign.
- Add the sign to the center of the wreath using the wire.
- Take your bow and add it to the bottom center of the wreath using the pipe cleaner.
