When it comes to setting up your booth at a craft show, a great display can make the difference between shoppers walking past or stopping to buy. In this post, Jordan shares his go-to display items that not only make his booth look professional but also help him sell more at every event.

Whether you’re brand new to craft shows or looking to step up your setup, these are the tried-and-true tools that will give your products the spotlight they deserve.

Craft Show Display Essentials

Shoppers often decide in the first three seconds whether they’ll stop at your booth. A clean, organized, and inviting display draws them in and encourages browsing. Plus, the right display can help show your products in context, helping customers imagine them in their own homes.

1. Gridwall Panels

Gridwalls are Jordan’s number one pick because they’re sturdy, easy to rearrange, and give you vertical display space. This means you can hang wreaths, signs, or seasonal décor at eye level where customers can see them from across the room.

Tip: Use S-hooks or zip ties to easily swap products in and out during the day.

2. Easels & Stands

Not everything should hang. Some items are best displayed upright on tables. Jordan uses adjustable easels for signs and table décor so customers can see the details without having to pick them up.

3. Tiered Display Shelves

When you’re short on space, think up, not out. Tiered shelving lets you stack products vertically so you can show more items without clutter. It also helps group similar styles together for easy shopping.

4. Table Risers

Flat tables are boring. Jordan uses small risers under tablecloths to create levels on his tables, making it easier for shoppers to see everything at a glance.

5. Mannequins & Bust Displays

If you sell wearable items or accessories, a mannequin or bust display instantly shows how the product looks when worn. Even for seasonal scarves or aprons, these props make a difference.

6. Banners & Signage

Your business name should be visible from anywhere in the aisle. Jordan always has a large banner and smaller branded signs for pricing, social media handles, and QR codes.

7. Lighting

Some craft show venues are dim. A few small clip-on lights or battery-powered spotlights make your booth shine, literally. Products look better and colors pop under good lighting.

8. Baskets & Crates

For smaller items, baskets and crates help corral products while keeping them accessible. Jordan says they’re perfect for “dig-through” items like ornaments or small floral pieces.

9. Seasonal Props

Jordan swaps out seasonal props like faux pumpkins in fall or lanterns in winter to match the vibe of the show. It adds personality and gives shoppers inspiration for how to use your creations.

10. A Comfortable Floor Mat

Standing all day is tough. Jordan recommends a cushioned floor mat behind your table to save your feet and back because a comfortable vendor is a friendly vendor.

Bringing It All Together

The best displays don’t just look good—they make it easier for customers to shop. By combining vertical height, clear signage, and inviting touches, you create a booth that feels professional, approachable, and worth stopping for.

If you’re ready to take your booth from “just okay” to “can’t miss,” start with a few of Jordan’s must-have display items. Your sales—and your feet—will thank you.
