Supplies to make a Wreath with Glitter Ribbon

These are the few supplies you will be needing to make this festive Christmas wreath to hang on your front door or sell in your own shop!

How to Make a Christmas Wreath with Glitter Ribbon

Step #1: Place mesh in wreath form by folding it over and crinkling it up. This is where you will start placing your mesh into your twist ties. Making 10-inch poofs between each one. Once that ring is completed move on to the next ring. 10-inch poofs as well.

Step #2: Cut strips of 21-inch mesh into 12-inch strips, I cut 8 of these. We will now attach them to the twist ties around the center by letting them curl up. Now fold them in half putting the cut side on the inside. Pinch at the middle and place into the twist ties. Making sure you put them all in the same direction.

Step #3:  Attach the sign by stapling green pipe cleaners to the back of your sign. Take those pipe cleaners that you made point of attachments and secure them to the wire form

Step #4: Take your wire frame and push it in on the edges to make it oblong vs. round. This allows more room above and below the sign we are going to place.

Step 5: To make your Terri bow start with your 4-inch ribbon making a long tail and twist to add to the EZ Bow Maker. Making 6-inch loops on each side. Cutting the second tail  shorter. Bring the red solid 1.5-inch ribbon making a short tail at the top. Loops at 5.5 inches on each side. Bring bottom tail down long and cut. Now with 1.5 inch green solid making your long tail at the bottom and loops a little bit smaller than last. Finishing off with a short tail at top, then cut. Using your 2.5-inch ribbon with the Christmas tree pattern make your short tail. Loops at about the same size as last. Bring tail down long and cut. With your Christmas plaid pattern ribbon measure out your long tail. Loops at 4 inches and pull up your short tail at the top, and cut.

Step 6: Attach your bow using the pipe cleaner that you used to secure it. Add to the bottom of your wreath in the center under your sign. Then dovetail your ends.

Step 7: Repeat the same steps to make an additional bow. You will attach this bow at the top of your wreath above your sign in the center.

Step 8: Attach 16 ribbon tails around your wreath. Use your ribbon tail board to cut these by wrapping your ribbon around your ribbon board 8 times. Then cut the center to make your tails. You will be cutting 16 tails of three different ribbon colors

Step 9: Layer your ribbons on top of each other to make your ribbon tails, pinch in the middle, and V it up. Place these into your twist ties. Once all placed go back and dovetail your ribbon ends. Be sure to fluff your ribbon tails and bow!
