It’s crazy how the ribbon design can change the look of a classic magnolia wreath. The animal print ribbon gives this wreath design a little sass and we’re loving it.

Quick and Easy Magnolia Grapevine Wreath

This magnolia grapevine wreath would look good all year round. You’ll be able to knock this one out of the park in less than 30-minutes.

This is a no-glue design, making it easy-peasy!

What Supplies do You Need?

  • Round grapevine wreath
  • 2 x greenery picks
  • Filler greenery
  • Curly picks
  • Magnolia leaves
  • Magnolia stem
  • 2 x 7/8″ wired ribbons (different solid colors)
  • 1 x 2.5″ animal print wired ribbon
  • Zip ties
  • Pipe Cleaners

  • Prepare greenery stems
  • Combine the greenery stems into a mini swag
  • Add magnolia leaves to the mini a swag
  • Add magnolia flower stems
  • Attach the mini swag to the grapevine
  • Make a bow
  • Attach and dovetail the bow
  • Adjust any stems and bow as needed.

Easy Magnolia Grapevine Wreath

This no glue magnolia grapevine wreath is very easy to make. Perfect for beginners or seasoned wreath makers.

Instructions

Prepare greenery stems

  • Start with a round grapevine wreath.
  • Take 2 x greenery picks and split the stems.

Make a mini swag

  • Place the greenery picks stem to stem, with the greenery pointing outward on each side to form a mini swag.
  • Add some various greenery stems to the top and bottom of the mini swag.
  • Add in a few curly picks.
  • Secure your mini swag with a zip tie.
  • Add in some magnolia leaves.
  • Secure the mini swag with another zip tie.
  • Add in a few magnolia flowers to the mini swag.
  • Secure them with a zip tie.
  • Add your mini swag to the left of the grapevine wreath using zip ties.
  • Fluff out your swag.

Make and add your bow

  • Take a ⅞” ribbons and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Take a ⅞” ribbons and make a bow with 4 loops.
  • Take a 1.5” ribbon and make a bow with 2 loops.
  • Take a 2.5” ribbon and make a bow with 4 loops.
  • Layer your bows.
  • Add a pipe cleaner to the back of the bow.
  • Secure your bow and pipe cleaner with a zip tie.
  • Add your bow to the center of the swag using the zip tie.
  • Fluff out your bow.

Final touches

  • Fluff out any stems, bow, and tails as needed
