How To Make Your Own Frankie on a Grapevine Wreath 

Do you love making wreaths, but are looking for a new challenge? Well, look no further than this Frankenstein grapevine wreath. It’s perfect for Halloween, and it’s sure to get everyone in the mood for the spookiest season of the year. Follow these simple steps to make your very own Frankie on a grapevine.

Supplies

How to Make Frankie on a Grapevine

  1. Prep your wreath by attaching pipe cleaners to your grapevine where you will be placing your mesh pieces. 
  2. Attach your mesh to the grapevine wreath. Start by placing your white mesh with black stripes and scrunch it together in the middle.
  3. Alternate adding your mesh pieces with the white and green. Working on the outer and inner parts of your wreath. 
  4. Now add in your greenery bush by dipping it in your glue pot. Placing them in between your mesh on the top left, and then on the bottom left.
  5. Once placed then spread out the branches of your greenery. Don’t be concerned about your gaps. 
  6. Make your bow. Use three different ribbons, and your hand to hold it. 
  7. Add two zip ties to the left of your grapevine. This is how you will attach your bow to the wreath
  8. Curl your ribbon tails up on a few. 
  9. Add in some orange floral filler flowers. Add them in any empty spots you see.
  10. Attach your felt Frankenstein to the right side of the wreath you have left open. 
  11. Once you have placed your Frankenstein’s head then add orange flowers where you feel they would fit best. Start by placing them around your Frankenstein’s head and work your way around the wreath.

How to Attach a Wreath Attachment

When working with wreath attachments depending on what you are attaching it is best you make anchors on the back of your attachment. Once your anchors are made you then use zip ties or pipe cleaners to thread through your anchors and attach them to your wreath. You can always add some hot glue for extra support.

If you’re like me, you have a ribbon stash that’s overflowing. This is the best way to select ribbon to use in your wreath. Just look at the options you have. Then decide the theme of your wreath and pull your ribbon colors from the mesh you use of the attachment you attached.

Instructions
