How to Make the Mason Jar Shelf Sitter

Step 1: Prep Your Greenery
Start by fluffing and separating the greenery from the bush. Trim off individual stems or clusters depending on how full you want the arrangement. You want a nice balanced look that doesn’t overpower the jar.

Step 2: Add Your Blue Florals
Take the 60919 stem and cut it into a few smaller sections. Tuck these in evenly throughout the greenery to add pops of color and texture.

Step 3: Arrange and Layer
Lay out your greenery and blue florals at the top opening of your mason jar sign. Play around with the placement until it feels natural and balanced—this doesn’t need to be perfect!

Step 4: Staple It In
Once you’re happy with your placement, staple the greenery and florals directly to the back or top edge of the mason jar sign. Be sure it’s secure but don’t over-staple—just enough to hold everything in place.

Step 5: Add a Bow (Optional but Adorable)
If you’ve got ribbon that matches your color theme, add a simple bow to the front for a little extra charm. It helps tie everything together and adds a cute handmade feel.

Tips

  • Stapling instead of hot glue makes it faster and cleaner—especially for resale.
  • Try creating a set with seasonal colors (think fall, Christmas, or patriotic themes) for easy upsells.
  • Use scraps of ribbon or leftover greenery to keep costs low!

Where to Use It

  • On a shelf, mantle, or bookcase
  • As part of your craft booth display
  • Paired with a wreath or sign for a mini decor bundle
