How Do You Make Ribbon Tails For Wreaths

Thanks to Hot Mesh Mom cutting ribbon tails for a wreath has never been easier! Luckily she designed a ribbon tail board that makes measuring and cutting ribbon tails a breeze. I use a lot of ribbon tails in my wreaths.

To make ribbon tails determine the length you want them. Then using the ribbon board wrap your ribbon around the board. Depending on the number of ribbon tails you want of that ribbon color is the number of times you wrap it around. Once done wrapping slide off the ribbon and cut the ends separating your ribbon into individual pieces. There you have ribbon tails to use. Repeat for each ribbon choice.

If you do not have a ribbon board just use a measuring mat and measure out each tail individually.
