Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep Your Base
Start with your Rattan Glitter Present. This piece already has sparkle and structure, making it the perfect base for layering florals and ribbon.
2. Cut and Layer Greenery
Use wire cutters to separate your frosted mistletoe, eucalyptus, and pine sprays into smaller sections. Begin tucking them into the rattan present, layering greenery to add fullness and dimension. Secure with hot glue as needed.
3. Add Seasonal Sprays
Place the mistletoe sprigs near the top for height and texture. Fan out eucalyptus leaves on the sides to create a balanced silhouette. Use frosted pine to give extra fullness at the base.
4. Make the Bow
Combine the Pine and Berry ribbon with the Gold Dupion ribbon for a layered bow. Use 2–3 loops per ribbon, tying them together with wire or a zip tie.
5. Attach the Bow
Place your bow in the center of the present, just above the greenery. Let the ribbon tails cascade naturally to soften the edges of the design.
6. Final Touches
Step back and look at your arrangement from all angles. Adjust greenery, fluff the bow loops, and trim ribbon tails to your preferred length.
Design Tips from Coach Meghan
- Balance Glitter with Greenery: Since the rattan present already sparkles, use frosted greens for contrast.
- Stick with 2 Ribbons: Two coordinated ribbons add elegance without overwhelming the design.
- Think Versatility: This piece works on mantles, as a table centerpiece, or as a standout item in your craft show booth.
