Project #1: “Red, White, and Sweet” Watermelon Door Hanger
This playful piece features a bold sign paired with a watermelon bow and cheerful greenery.

Supplies:
- “Red, White, and Sweet” Metal Watermelon Sign (May 2025 WSB)
- Door hanger watermelon base (May 2025 WSB)
- Baby 60919 spray (May 2025 WSB Deco Exchange FH8194A3)
- Greenery spray (May 2025 WSB Deco Exchange FP105129)
- 2.5″ Watermelon Ribbon (Deco Exchange LS1040)
- 1.5″ Watermelon-themed Scalloped Ribbon
- 2.5″ Green & White Stripe Ribbon (Deco Exchange RGC56306)
- Stapler
- Pipe cleaners or floral wire
Instructions:
- Layer Your Greenery: Begin by fluffing out your greenery and Baby 60919 spray. Staple or zip tie these together in a mini swag.
- Make the Bow: Use all three ribbons to make a stacked bow. Use 2-3 loops per ribbon size for fullness. Tie with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach Bow to Greenery: Twist the pipe cleaner around your greenery bundle, adjusting the bow to sit centered.
- Secure to the Sign: Staple the swag and bow to the back of your sign or use pipe cleaners if it has holes.
Design Tip:
Try angling the bow slightly to give the design movement and flow!
Project #2: “Sweet Summertime” Grapevine Wreath
This design uses an oval grapevine base and highlights a large watermelon sign with whimsical florals and ribbon.

Supplies:
- 18″ Oval Grapevine Wreath (Deco Exchange)
- “Sweet Summertime” Round Metal Watermelon Sign (May 2025 WSB)
- Baby 60919 spray (May 2025 WSB Deco Exchange FH8194A3)
- Greenery spray (May 2025 WSB Deco Exchange FP105129)
- 2.5″ Watermelon Ribbon (Deco Exchange LS1040)
- 1.5″ Watermelon-themed Scalloped Ribbon
- 2.5″ Green & White Stripe Ribbon (Deco Exchange RGC56306)
- Pipe cleaners or floral wire
- Hot glue
Instructions:
- Create the Bow First: Start with a large bow using all three ribbons. Tie it off with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach the Sign: Use floral wire to anchor the round watermelon sign to the right side of your grapevine.
- Build the Florals: Insert your greenery and Baby 60919, starting from behind the bow and fanning upward and outward.
- Finish the Look: Add another mini bow above the sign for balance, and fill in any open spots with leftover greenery or ribbon tails.
Design Tip:
Leave a little space between the sign and the bow to avoid visual crowding.
