Y’all are loving the patriot projects this year so we are keeping them coming! In today’s installment I’m showing you how to make a simple grapevine wreath with festive fireworks. The grapevine gives the wreath a rustic feel and the fireworks add that classic holiday sparkle!

Patriotic wreath projects are always popular. But y’all, this year people are really going crazy for them! In the video below I show you how to make a quick and easy fireworks themed project. My favorite part about this project is that I mostly use leftovers and scraps! I re-purpose some Christmas ribbon and use grapevine left over from another project. The result is a fabulous patriotic wreath with a rustic feel!

DIY Simple Fireworks Grapevine Wreath

Y’all, I just hate wasting supplies so I am always on the look out for ways to use up leftovers and re-purpose off season ribbon. This simple grapevine wreath was the perfect opportunity for me to do just that. Some of the red and white ribbons that I used were still laying around from Christmas. The grapevines I used were trimmings from a previous project. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box when it comes to making the most of your supply stash! “A penny saved is a penny earned” isn’t one of the oldest adages for nothing y’all.

One of the things I show you in this video is how to shape leftover grapevine into a wreath using zip-ties. This is just one of the many reasons that zip-ties are one of my favorite tools y’all. I also show you how to use several different ribbon widths to make a beautiful multi-layered bow. The easiest way to do that is to use the EZ Bowmaker, another one of my wreath making faves. If you want to know what other gadgets are must haves for wreath makers you can check out our post about my favorite wreath making tools.

Y’all, wreaths like this simple one are the type of product that I love to have ready for craft shows. Since I was able to reuse supplies and produce it quickly I can price this wreath for under $50. That makes it perfect for craft fairs. When you can make things with a price and size that are craft show friendly you will watch those products walk away!
