St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner! Try making this simple but lovely St. Patrick’s Day Wreath! It’s a grapevine wreath that comes together in under 15 minutes.

Hey, y’all! Today, Coach Jordan is here to show us a simple and festive grapevine wreath for St. Patrick’s Day.

Believe it or not, we tend to sell quite a few wreaths for St. Patrick’s Day. However, St. Patrick’s Day sales start happening just as we’re coming off the mad rush to create holiday season wreaths, followed by Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras wreaths.

And even though we LOVE making wreaths, we’re human and can get tired once in a while too. So, we often like to opt for St. Patrick’s Day wreath designs that we can make quickly to stock our inventory.

That way, we’re still providing items our customers like and purchase, but we’re striking that much-needed Craftpreneur balance between work and rest.

How To Make A Happy St. Patrick’s Day Wreath

This grapevine wreath is so lovely that it’s irresistible. Plus, it can be ready in just 15 minutes or less! How’s that for an inventory filler that’s time-friendly?

Supplies Needed

Here’s what you’ll need to make this festive wreath.

Instructions

Follow this wreath tutorial to create a beautiful festive St. Patrick’s Day grapevine wreath in about 15 minutes!

Step 1

We’re going to start by attaching the sign to the right side of the wreath base using pipe cleaners.

Note: My sign already had holes at the top and the bottom that I used to thread the pipe cleaners through. If your sign doesn’t have holes, you can glue mounting squares on the back and thread the pipe cleaners through them before attaching them to the wreath.

Step 2

Let’s make a quick bow by hand.

Take your 1” ribbon and make (2) 8” tails and (2) 4” loops.

Next, take your first 1.5” ribbon and make (2) 8” tails with (2) 4.5” loops.

Grab your second 1.5” ribbon and make (2) 8” tails with (2) 5” loops.

Repeat the process with the 3rd 1.5” ribbon, making the loops just slightly larger at 5.5”.

Finally, grab the 4” ribbon and make (2) 8” tails with (2) 6” loops.

Wrap a zip tie around the center of the bow and pull it tight to secure your bow.

Now, wrap a pipe cleaner around the bow (over the top of the zip tie) and use it to attach the bow to the grapevine wreath. Dovetail the ribbon tails.

Step 3

If you wanted to, you could stop now and call this wreath done. However, we’re going to add some greenery to fill it out a bit more.

Take your floral stems and add a dab of hot glue to the ends, then insert one of them into the grapevine above the bow and one of them into the grapevine below the bow.

Step 4

Now it’s time to add some of the greenery stems into the wreath design to add some texture and color variation. Cut the individual stems off of the main stem.

Add a dab of hot glue to each stem as you insert it into the florals around the bow.

Step 5

Add any additional pieces of greenery as needed, fluff out your design, and you’re done!

Isn’t this wreath gorgeous? Coach Jordan has a real talent for creating quick and simple wreath designs that impress. This wreath design will sell out quickly.
