Coach Jordan is here to show us how to create a stunning neutral wreath bow that’s great to use all year long. You don’t need a bow maker for this design because Coach Jordan is showing us how to do it by hand!
Hey, y’all! Coach Jordan never fails to amaze me with his brilliant simplicity. His wreath designs always look gorgeous and impressive, but they’re often much more simple and nuanced than you may initially realize.
Today, he’s sharing a simple neutral wreath bow that’s as beautiful as it is versatile. And, the best part of this design is that it’s all done by hand. That means you don’t need to have an EZ Bow Maker or a Pro Bow to make this one!
But rest assured, if you feel more comfortable using your EZ Bow Maker, this design is easy to transfer to make on it.

How To Make A Wreath Bow By Hand
The process for making this bow is super simple. If you are used to using an EZ Bow Maker to make your bows, it may seem a little confusing to do it by hand. Just follow these instructions to create a simple but versatile everyday wreath bow design.
Step 1
Take your first 1.5-inch ribbon and make a 12-inch tail with a 5.5-inch loop. Pinch, twist (so you see the pretty side of the ribbon in the other loop), and make another loop. Then, measure out one more tail of equal length.
Step 2
Take another 1.5-inch ribbon and make a slightly longer tail with a 6-inch loop. Pinch, twist and repeat so you have 1 loop and 1 tail on each side.
Step 3
Take the 3rd 1.5-inch ribbon and make a slightly longer tail with a 6-inch loop. Pinch, twist, loop, and repeat so you have 1 loop and 1 tail on each side.
Step 4
Now take your first 2.5-inch ribbon and make a slightly longer tail with a 6.5-inch loop. Pinch, twist, and loop so you have 1 loop and 1 tail on each side.
Step 5
Grab your second 2.5-inch ribbon and make a slightly longer tail with a 7-inch loop. Pinch, twist, and loop so that you have 1 loop and 1 tail on each side of the bow.
Step 6
Take your final 2.5-inch ribbon and make a slightly longer tail with a 7-inch loop. Pinch, twist, and loop so that you have 1 loop and 1 tail on each side of the bow.
Step 7
Now, grab a zip tie and wrap it around the center of your bow. Pull it until it’s closed but slightly loose.
Step 8
Thread a pipe cleaner through your zip tie then cinch the zip tie tight.
Step 7
Fluff out your bow, separating the layers and spreading them out. Dovetail the ends.
What do I do if I can’t hold the wreath bow in my hand as I make it?
I completely understand the challenge that presents! If you can’t hold the bow as you work, you can either use your EZ Bow Maker to make your bow or you can use a pipe cleaner to hold your bow together as you work on additional layers.
That’s it, y’all! This bow is super easy to make and it looks terrific with a huge variety of designs. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below or on the FB page so we can answer them.
