When it comes to the Christmas spirit, what better way is there than to start decorating your front door? For us, it’s one of the first decorations up when the holiday season begins. There’s nothing more satisfying than putting up our gorgeous and festive Christmas wreaths.

Wreaths for Christmas Decor

This unique wreath is super fun to make! It’s called a pancake wreath, because it is designed to be flat enough to fit between your front door and storm door. That makes it the perfect choice for people who live in colder climates! Coach Mel shows us how to make a beautiful Christmas Pancake Wreath (including an adorable sign) that only measures 4 inches thick. I had to step out of my comfort zone for this one y’all, but I really love the way it came out!

Since Christmas grapevine wreaths sell really well and are super popular, we made a second tutorial that’s also quick and easy. It’s super simple and requires very little experience to make this DIY Christmas grapevine wreath.

Ok, this Christmas project is a whole lot of fun! Laurie, from Unique in the Creek, joined us to show everyone how to use her unique triangle board to make an adorable Christmas tree wreath. I kept mine simple with just a sign and a bow but the possibilities for decorating these babies are endless! You could add ornaments, greenery, figurines…you get the idea. All the details on where to get the UITC triangle boards is in the post so check it out and have a blast with this one!

If you’re looking for a different type of Christmas wreath that doesn’t use grapevines, we had a guest designer from Monkey’s Creation create a tutorial on how to make a poinsettia wreath using Unique in the Creek’s flower board. This is a beautiful Christmas flower wreath that’ll brighten up anyone’s door!

Door Hanger for Christmas Decorations

When it comes to Christmas decor, you don’t have to stick to just wreaths. Door hangers are another great option to spruce up any door. Of course, you can’t forget Santa’s reindeer. So you can learn how to make a Reindeer Door Hanger. It’s one of our favorite projects, because it’s quick and simple to make. It only requires 3 pieces and only takes a few minutes to finish this Christmas decor!

This adorable Christmas door hanger is super quick and easy to do! You can make one in about 30 minutes and is perfect for gifting and selling at craft shows or on your business page. Not only is it quick, it also uses relatively few supplies. That keeps your price point down which is great whether you plan to keep it or pass it on. I love these adorable elf legs! This whimsical project is a win!

Other Christmas Decor

Y’all didn’t think we’d stop at crafting with this post, did you? Probably the largest focal point of your holiday decor is your tree. If you have been wondering how to decorate your tree like all those pictures in the magazines, this is the tutorial for you! We give you 8 steps to an absolutely gorgeous Christmas tree, you can thank us later. I know a lot of you probably have tree toppers that you look forward to pulling out every year.

This is one of my favorite DIY Christmas decor tutorials y’all! Chandeliers often go ignored when it comes to holiday decor, but they add so much to your overall look. We had guest designers Amy Smith and Nancy Brown help us with decorating a chandelier for Christmas. We had an amazing time doing it and the results are nothing less than magical! You will definitely want some fabulous bows for this project.

How To Decorate A Chandelier

Speaking of bows, here is a tutorial for one of my most used bows. Our friend, Kelea from Kelea’s Florals, stops by to show us how to make this whimsical Christmas funky bow on the EZ Bow Maker. These bows are perfect for wreaths but they also work well for swags, mailboxes, trees…you name it! If you don’t have an EZ Bowmaker, no problem. You can still make a beautiful bow by hand!

These beautiful decoupaged wood Christmas signs are so amazing and can be uniquely your own. The cool part about this project is that you can easily design it to fit any style of Christmas decor. For the background, you can use wrapping paper, Christmas napkins, tissue paper, etc. So, keep your eye out for some patterns you love and hold on to them for this project. There are so many possibilities that the biggest challenge will be narrowing them down!

Centerpieces for Christmas Decor

Here’s another great project that starts with a simple base and ends up being something spectacular! I started with a centerpiece base that I found at Michael’s then added more greenery and some beautiful ribbon. We all have different Christmas themes in our homes, so choose the right filler materials to match your own tastes and decor. The best thing about making your own Christmas table centerpiece is that you can duplicate it for any holiday or season just by switching up your filler material. Whatever supplies you choose I just know you are going to love the results!

How to Make a Simple Centerpiece

This is not your typical centerpiece project, this one is a show stopper! This centerpiece can be used on your dining table or anywhere in your home that you want to make shine. Basically you start with any simple holiday decoration that you love and then build that baby up. This DIY Christmas centerpiece tutorial gives you instructions along with lots of ideas for possible bases and accents and you can take it from there!

Christmas Tree Topper Decorations

In this project, I show you how to take a budget-friendly Christmas Tree topper and make it something special. I found a cute snowman at a low price and then added some embellishments that transformed him into a designer tree topper. All you need is a pretty bow, some sprays, and you will have a beautiful topper you can display or sell! Each one of these will be different because we will all be starting with a different base. Let the colors of your tree topper guide you in deciding what ribbons and sprays to use.

Y’all Christmas isn’t complete with out decorating your tree. Who says you have to stick to the average plastic tree toppers when you can just make a beautiful Christmas Tree Topper Bow! You can create this designer tree topper bow in less than 10 minutes!
